Ghosts, Ghouls, Spooks And Hauntings, Do They Exist?
TSL Holistic Centre asked:
Ghosts, Ghouls, Spooks and Hauntings, Do they exist?
Over the years many people have reported seeing Ghosts, lived in Haunted Houses and being scared by a mischievous spooks. Sightings of the unexplained paranormal kind have been documented throughout history in many formats. So following years off so-called “true accounts” we ask, “Do they exist”, that’s Ghosts, Ghouls and Hauntings.
Sceptics will always say that these sightings and accounts, relating to the paranormal are figments of the human mind, hallucinations of peoples over active imaginations. They will maintain that unless they have concrete proof they will not and cannot accept the existence of so called Ghosts, Ghouls and Hauntings. Concrete proof that means solid doesn’t it? I ask are the accounts of millions of people, from all walks of life not proof enough? These accounts/recordings have been documented in many ways, shapes and forms throughout the whole of history. Bringing reporting up to date, in the UK alone, there are on average over 200 reported sightings a year. Whether they are recorded in a picture, included in some old diaries, repeated in ghost stories or on a forum from of the many Paranormal Event Companies, there has to be some truth in it. Not everybody is disillusioned with wild imaginations, are they? Whilst working for UK Ghost Nights I have had a few of experiences that have left me shaken up, and convinced that ghosts do exist and are a part of a science we do not yet understand.
Having been involved in paranormal investigations for several years I personally, from my own experiences, can undisputedly say, “they do exist”. I have witnessed things I cannot scientifically prove, for example a table move across a room under its own volition. Not very unusual you may say, but when I tell you a 17 stone man was sitting on the table and the incident was witnessed by 4 other people, now that’s spooky. This took place in a renowned haunted church. 6 people all imagining the same thing, I think not. An interaction of ghostly energies perhaps, I think so. In the same haunted church the Ghoulish apparition of a demonic looking preacher also was witnessed. Ghosts, Ghouls, Spooks and Hauntings, Do they exist? Well I say YES they do.

“sparkling” Spirits Surround Miranda Since Childhood
Martha Jette asked:
Miranda Clearwell of southeast Missouri was just a child when she first heard voices in her head and realized that there were “sparkling figures” around her or following her.
As she grew into a young girl, it became so natural to her that she thought everyone experienced these kinds of things.
“I just thought they were extra friends for me that I couldn’t see or talk to directly,” said Miranda.
But she soon learned that her friends at school didn’t have similar experiences and she found it very upsetting. In fact, her friends warned her that such entities must mean trouble and she should be careful.
“For a time, I thought I must be crazy,” Miranda explained. “None of my friends knew anything that could help me.” In fact she added, many of them “became upset with me.”
Her experiences began as a youngster, when she realized the presence of the entities and that things in her room would move around as well. Miranda said she could also sense a lot of negative energy in the family home and it would grow unusually dark.
“Even when the sun was coming through (a window), the house could become dark,” she explained adding that this frightened her. “That was when I started feeling a presence very strongly and then there were multiple presences.”
While most of the house gave her an eerie feeling, she said her own room felt “warm and safe.”
The first time Miranda actually saw a “sparkling figure,” she was 19 years old and it sat right on her bed!
“I could see his outline,” she said adding that he appeared to be about six feet tall and “wearing clothing that fit somewhat close to his body. It looked like smoky water,” but was easily recognizable as a man. It also looked like he was “radiating some of it… I couldn’t see anything within the outer lines of the body, so I didn’t see a face or eyes or colors. He was all clear.”
Miranda said he walked like a normal person and then “sat on the edge of my bed facing me, while I was standing up in the center of the room. Once I spotted him, I moved close enough to sit on the bed in front of him.”
At this point, she was very excited, because she had never actually seen a spirit before. She was also quite afraid.
“Of course, my heart was beating out of my chest because it was a little bit scary, but in a miraculous way.”
“When I raised my hands in front of me, he raised his own and touched them to mine.”
Miranda said his hands felt “almost like fuzzy liquid.”
“He stayed like that until my eyes blurred with tears and he was gone.”
Miranda said she was “surprised by the experience, but his simple gesture was very touching…”
Since then, she has seen as many as seven of these figures in her room at one time, but the problem is: she isn’t sure what or who they are or why they keep coming around her. Miranda said she has spoken to the entities and upon a number of occasions, asked questions and received the answers in her mind – answers that were later confirmed.
Miranda explained that as a child, there was only the foundation of a house sitting on the property next to her home. She often played in that area and did not know at the time that the house had burned down.
“Me and my little brother used to walk around that lot all the time and we’d find useless things like rusted washers, metal silverware and plenty of burned things.”
Just this past week, she learned from her mother that an elderly couple had lived there.
“The wife was considered an invalid and was stuck in a wheelchair. Her husband set the fire and left her inside knowing that she couldn’t get out. My mother said she died in that fire and that the man went to prison for murder.”
I suggested that perhaps these two people might be among the many spirits that seem to cling to her. Perhaps that dark entity is the husband. However, Miranda’s story suggests that she may also have spirit guides or even angels close to her. Not only do they help her with her problems, but they also bring her comfort.
“I feel so attached to these spirits now,” she said.
Her only desire is that she would like to learn to communicate more effectively with her visitors from the other side. If anyone has suggestions for her, please let me know.
As well, Miranda said the presence of spirits around her has caused her to re-evaluate her personal beliefs. As a child, she was raised as a Christian to believe that with death, one goes to either heaven or hell.
“That was what everyone wanted me to believe,” she said. “I was never raised to believe that souls could still wander the earth after death, so it was startling to see that something was following me around.”
Now, Miranda says she believes strongly in life after death.
“I do believe that the soul is eternal and I also believe that if a person still has something they need to accomplish, God could allow them to remain behind for a while.”
She also thinks God might allow certain souls to remain earthbound for a time “to watch over their relatives or friends that still live. Nothing is impossible with God, so my faith allowed me to accept this possibility of spirit helpers without much trouble.”
Although she admitted that the spirit realm is still somewhat of a mystery to her, Miranda said she knows that everything “happens for a reason and that not one living person can place rules on how a human soul must behave after death.”
To sum it up, the 21-year-old added, “I still believe in a final resting place, but maybe some spirits are allowed to make a few stops along the way.”

Making Friends, Meeting People And Getting Dates On The Internet
Alan Prince asked:
It appears that online dating has come to stay with us. But for many people, especially the very busy people, they have used only dating or matchmaking sites hitherto.
And not a few of these people have been scammed of their money via these sites.
Rather than use dating or matchmaking sites alone, here is a list of some other places where you can possibly make friends, and maybe get dates.
The major advantage in these places is that you can discuss matters of mutual interest, which tends to draw you closer.
1. Yahoo Groups: Yahoo as well as other major mail portals has groups where you can interact with people from all across the world.
They have groups on almost every topic under the sun. You can join a group in the areas of your interest, start to make posts and get to meet new people and make friends.
2. Friendship networks: myspace, hi5 and so on provide fora for you to meet with other people. These sites are specially made for social networking, and you can take advantage of this opportunity.
3. Volunteer Groups/Communities: There are some places where you can offer support and help to other people who are in need as at that moment.
What you should have at the back of your mind is that many times, what you know or have experienced before could be of immense help to many other people.
You could look for such a group of people online and join that community.
It could be a divorce group, or a health and fitness community among others.
You should consider joining that community of people and help others out of your knowledge and experiences.
In turn, you get to meet new people with whom you can interact.
In all these groups, it is advisable that you go there with the aim of giving out before getting.
Many people go into such groups or places with the sole aim of getting what they want.
Hardly do they care about what other people want or their needs .
Be sensitive to the needs of others in such communities and you will soon have many friends.
Many people complain about not having friends. There is no reason at all for anyone to be without friends.
All you need to do is to be a good friend, a person that people want to be with.
Once you are ready to help others and to be a part of their life in some way, you will soon have more friends than you can cope with.
And it will just be a matter of time before you start getting dates.

How to Make Friends With Your Loyal Customers

Kaitlyn Miller asked:
You can’t make friends without talking to people. Even in today’s computer age, where people make “friends” online, they still interact in some way. As a businessperson, it is important for you to “make friends” with your most loyal customers. Doing so will not only benefit you through increased sales and positive word of mouth, but will also make your customers happier to be a part of your growth. That, in turn, will lead to more loyal customers and, of course, more profits. But the only way to enter into this type of relationship with your loyal customers is to talk to them.
Ask for feedback
You want to get as much feedback from your customers as possible, both positive and negative. On your product packages, ask for feedback and provide contact information so customers can reach you. When you design your next business card printing, include more than just your phone number and email address: explicitly ask the recipients to get in touch with you and tell you about their experiences with your company.
Make it clear that you are asking for all types of feedback, even if it’s not good. Customers who can give you examples of shortfalls in your business are the most valuable of all. You can’t fix something if you don’t know it’s broken.
Use the feedback in your advertising
The feedback you receive from customers is only valuable if you use it. Fix the things that customers have complained about, and emphasize the things that they like. When you do a flyer printing, use it to put your company’s greatest strengths on display. Even better, put customer testimonials on them. You will probably have plenty of loyal customers who would be more than happy to let you use their positive reflections in an ad or flyer. Customer testimonials can be tremendously effective.
Keep your loyal customers engaged
Once you have used customer feedback to alter your marketing strategies, don’t stop there. Keep interacting with these customers; keep “making friends” with them. Send them postcards asking for more feedback. A good idea is to offer your loyal customers special offers or bonuses, simply for being loyal customers. This can do a great amount of good, as it gives those customers a sense of privilege and honor. They may end up spreading the word about your company through personal experiences, which is the most valuable advertisement of all.
Invite your friends to a party
At some point, you may want to invite your loyal customers to a gathering with you and the leaders of your company. This can be a good way to let them know how important they are to you, and to reward them with an exclusive chance to interact with the decision makers in the company. It can also increase sales, as these customers are very likely to buy more of your product before, during, and after the meeting.
As a business, the best friends you can make are your customers. Never forget that they are the ones who will make or break your company.

How to Make Friends: Become a Chameleon
Tim Wright asked:
When you first meet someone, they immediately begin to make a decision as to whether or not they like you based on a number of different attributes.
One of the attributes that they evaluate you on is your personality you present. Notice that I didn’t say the personality that you have, but the personality that you present.
After all, you could have the most obnoxious personality on the planet (and it may be the case), but if when you meet someone, you display a very personable and agreeable personality, they will evaluate you on the personality you display or show them.
Even if others have prejudiced them against you, by presenting an agreeable personality and winning them over, they will be forced to say that in their experience, you actually have a great personality.
The personality that you display is an essential part of neutralizing the “fight or flight” response that every individual experiences when they meet someone new.
With this in mind, you can see why it is important to display the right personality to the right person at the right time.
So that all makes sense, but what is the right personality to display? The right personality to display is the one that mirrors the personality of the person you are trying to meet.
For example, if the person who you’re approaching is shy and soft spoken, you do not want to approach them in an “over the top” loud and obnoxiously friendly way – you’ll probably scare them.
Of course you want to approach them in a friendly and confident way, but you need to do so a calm and quiet manner, so that you become congruent with them, matching their personality type as closely as you can.
Doing this elicits a certain amount of trust and feelings of safety, as you meet them on their level and in such a way that they will be receptive of your advances.
Once you have connected with their personality, you want to try and subtly lead them into a friendly, positive state. If you can do this and make them laugh genuinely, you’re set.
When you first meet someone, they immediately begin to make a decision as to whether or not they like you based on a number of different attributes.
